Gerald (George) Day, 59, formerly of Leavenworth, died Wednesday, April 20, 2005,

at the Topeka VA Hospital. George was born on Oct. 22, 1945, to Vera and Everett Day,

in Hastings, Nebraska. George attended Leavenworth High School and served in the U.S. Army.
George is survived by his son, Daniel C. Day; a grandson, Damien X. Day; and two brothers,

Larry Day and Rodney Day, both of Leavenworth. He was preceded in death by his parents and

a sister, Mary Ann Schuler.

Gerald was a long time member of our, and many other trivia groups. He is sadly missed.
